A member of the SCXI family manufactured by NI. The SCXI-1302 is a 50-screw front terminal. It is highly recommended to use this model with the SCXI-1180 feedthrough plate. The terminal is installed on the front of the SCXI module. Screw terminals allow for simple signal connections to feed-through plates.
The SCXI-1302 has a number of beneficial features that help make signal connectivity as seamless as possible. The SCXI 1302 features a shielded design to ensure fast and reliable signal connections. The terminals also have rack mount and DIN rail mount options. This model also has a stress relief clamp to ensure the signal line is firmly in place. The National Instruments SCXI 1302 straight-through terminals are connected directly to the sensor at the screw terminal in a fully shielded housing.
To set up the SCXI-1302, several items are required, including: installation guide, wire insulation strippers, wire cutters, long nose pliers, 1/4 inch. And 1/8 of an inch. Flat-head screwdriver, No. 1 and No. 2 Philips screwdrivers, SCXI chassis, and SCXI-1180 Feedthrough plate. The NI SCXI 1302 has a 26-16 AWG maximum field line gauge and DC coupling. The transition frequency is 0.16 Hz 1 pole RC. The DC rejection capability of the terminal is ±50 VDC.
The SCXI-1302 runs with NIDAQmx driver software, which can be programmed using a software package or application development environment (ADE), such as LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI, ComponentWorks, etc. The device can be configured using the Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX) tool. NI equipment is designed to comply with the following electrical safety standards: IEC 61010-1, EN 61010-1, UL 61010-1 and CSA 61010-1.
