Applications:
The dual-channel rotational speed measuring module MMS6312 measures the rotational speed of the shaft, using the output generated by the trigger gear and pulse sensor.
Two channels can be used independently and can be used for measurement:
- Speed of both axes;
- Zero speed of both axes;
- The key phase pulse signal of two axes, one key phase trigger identifier for each axis, to describe the phase;
- When using multi-tooth trigger gear, press the mode of output pulse per revolution (independent of phase) to get the key phase pulse signal of two axes.
Two channels can be used in combination:
- Monitoring the direction of rotation of an axis;
- Monitor the speed difference between the two axes;
- As part of a multi-channel or redundant system.
Measurements of this module can be combined with measurements of other modules to form turbomachinery protection systems, as well as provided as input to analytical diagnostic systems, fieldbus systems, decentralized control systems, power plants/main computers, networks such as WAN/LAN networks, local area networks. For steam engines, gas engines, water turbines, compressors, fans, centrifuges and other turbo-machinery, the use of this system can improve the efficiency, operation safety and prolong the service life of the machinery.
Signal input
The module has two independent sensor signal inputs: SENS 1H (z8) /SENS 1L (z10) and SENS 2H (d8) /SENS 2L (d10). The matching sensor can be either a vortex current sensor, such as the PR6423+CON021 produced by the German company epro, or a Hall effect sensor, such as the PR9376. Input voltage range is 0... -27.3 V dc.
The module provides two -26.75V DC power supplies for the sensor, see the wiring diagram.
SENS 1+ (z6) /SENS 1- (b6) and SENS 2+ (d6) /SENS 2- (b8).
The sensor signal can be measured at the SMB interface on the front panel of the module, and the measured signal is the input signal x 0.15.
