Technical description
Physical characteristics
The serial communication module is a 9U high printed circuit board with an integral front panel and front and rear connectors; One insert subboard with RS232 interface circuit. Figure 1-1 shows the general layout, connector positions, and front panel components.
Mechanical coding block
All input/output modules come with two mechanical coding blocks with pins that fit into the holes in the corresponding block in the chassis to prevent the module from being inserted into the wrong slot. The pins on the module have been installed according to the mode determined by the module before delivery, and the corresponding screws have been removed from the chassis coding block for easy installation.
