About IC200MDL940
The IC200MDL940 is a relay output module that is part of the VersaMax I/O platform of Emerson Automation, formerly by GE Fanuc. This module comes with Sixteen (16) individually isolated Normally Open (N.O.) of Form A relay output contacts rated 0 to 125VDC, 5/24/125VDC nominal output voltage and 0 to 265VAC (47 to 63Hz), 120/240VAC nominal output voltage with output contact rating of 2.0 Amperes. With the built-in channel to channel isolation, each contact outputs can be wired to different voltage sources to energize the corresponding electrical devices wired to an output channel. The module’s embedded relay is a fixed coil, moving armature type with contacts made of silver alloy.
This module can be used to energize output devices such as relay coils, solenoid actuated instruments, pilot lamps and other instruments. It does not come with snubber circuits or internal protection fuses however, external protection may be installed accordingly by the user.
This module does not exhibit an output leakage current as the contact output are at an Open state when not activated. In addition, the response time of each output channel are both 10 ms specifically for Open to Close and Close to Open contact changeover. The maximum switching frequency of each output contact is 20 cycle per minute when used with inductive loads. Each output channel are provided with individual channel status indicator for depicting the operational state of each.
The IC200MDL940 has maximum backplane current draw of 490mA and requires an external power supply rated 0 to 125VDC, 5/24/125VDC nominal and 0 to 265VAC (47 to 63Hz), with 120/240VAC nominal supply voltage.
The IC200MDL940 module is a VersaMax PLC relay output module manufactured by GE Fanuc. It is equipped with 16 output points.
