There are no spare cards to access new devices, and increasing the scale of system hardware and software is a top priority. Because the control points of the two blowers are mixed together, and some control points are connected to the same card, when the backup blower is repaired, it may cause interference to the operation of the blower, so that the operation of the blower will be stopped, affecting the production. Too many cables are connected to the cabinet and cannot be placed into cable troughs. As a result, complex cables are exposed, which poses risks to inspection, maintenance, and operation. The system engineer carried out detailed statistics and checks on all control points in the DCS control cabinet, counted all unused control points but still had configuration in the system, and deleted these unused points from the control system after backing up records. The above optimization creates conditions for future transformation and new equipment, and improves the reliability of system operation. At the same time, in the optimization process, we have installed the controller as a whole, so that the hot spare redundancy function of the controller is normal and the reliability of the system is improved.
