The BENTLY 3500 - 22 Transient Data Interface Module (old version) is a significant part of the BENTLY Nevada 3500 monitoring system. It acts as a crucial link between the 3500 monitoring setup and compatible software like System 1 condition monitoring and diagnostic software, along with the 3500 system configuration software.

This module combines the functions of a 3500/20 Rack Interface Module (RIM) and the data - collection capabilities similar to a TDXnet communication processor. It is installed in a slot adjacent to the power supplies within the 3500 rack. The 3500 - 22 interfaces with M - series monitors such as the 3500/40M and 3500/42M. Its core function is to continuously gather both steady - state and transient dynamic (waveform) data from these connected monitors. Once the data is collected, it transmits this information to the host software via an ethernet connection for in - depth analysis.

In terms of data collection features, it has the ability to support four 3500 system key signals.
