The TPS2000 series provides a wide range of functions in the oscilloscope, while providing users with familiar, easy-to-use control functions and menus. With IsolatedChannel™ technology, the TPS2000 series is available in 2 - and 4-channel versions with grounding and isolation between channels, allowing you to easily take measurements without worrying about circuit damage. It comes standard with battery power, making it a natural choice for field applications. For the test of power electronic devices, the software is selected to integrate the commonly needed power system measurement function into the instrument, which speeds up the power analysis and debugging.

Make floating and differential measurements - quickly, accurately and economically

Unanticipated grounding of the circuit under test is a common cause of poor measurement results and circuit damage. Connecting two or more grounded probes may damage the grounding loop and, if the current is high enough, may cause the destruction of components and equipment. Most importantly, when carrying out floating measurements, if the instrument and probe are used improperly, it may cause harm to personal safety.

Tektronix's IsolatedChannel technology simplifies floating measurements. Unlike oscilloscopes with reference ground, the TPS2000 input connector housing is separated from each other and also from the ground. Within the specified maximum floating voltage range of 600 VRMS, IsolatedChannel technology prevents current from flowing between the TPS2000 input and the BNC housing, or from any BNC housing to the ground.
