When used with TCP312A, TCP305A, or TCP303 probes, the TCPA300 amplifier provides a range of current measurement capabilities that bridge the gap between low-current measurement products and ultra-high current measurement products. These three probes provide current measurement for 30 A, 50 A, and 150 A continuous DC currents. For higher current levels, the TCPA400 amplifier with the TCP404XL current probe can measure continuous DC currents at 500A and 750A, with derating related to duty cycle.
TCP312A with TCPA300 achieves higher frequency performance, providing ≥100 MHz bandwidth and up to 30A DC current.
Total elimination of measurement errors and manual calculation work
The new series of current measuring tools are Tektronix TDS3000, TDS500, TDS600, TDS700, TDS5000, TDS6000 and TDS7000B Users of the series oscilloscope system are provided with automatic control functions and screen scales and units (DPO3000, MDO/MSO/DPO4000, MSO/DPO5000 and DPO7000 series oscilloscopes require a TPA-BNC adapter).
The TCP300/TCP400 current measurement system can be seamlessly integrated with the TDS series oscilloscope.
Even the non-TekProbe system can also use the TCPA300/400 series to perform the corresponding current measurement, the user only needs to multiply the output voltage measured on the oscilloscope by the TCPA300/400 series range setting value.
