Redundant power Supply type:

The A4H124-24TX supports two types of redundant power supplies: STK-RPS-150PS and STK-RPS-500PS.

The STK-RPS-150PS is a 156-watt DC power supply designed to power fully loaded non-POE A4 switches.

The STK-RPS-500PS is a 500-watt DC power supply designed to provide redundant PoE power capability for A4H124-24P and A4H124-48P models.

Redundant power supply connection and operation:

When the switch is connected to an optional external redundant power supply, the RPS automatically takes over if the internal power supply fails, ensuring that network traffic is not affected.

The internal power supply and RPS each have independent AC power connections, allowing each power supply to connect to a different AC power circuit, further improving the redundancy of the AC power supply.

Improves system reliability and availability and reduces downtime due to power failures.

Allows the switch to maintain normal operation while the internal power supply is being maintained or replaced.
